Today marks the third day of Navratri, and Dussehra will be celebrated on 2nd October. In light of the upcoming festival, the state is implementing strict security measures. Police officers are on duty, both day and night, to ensure safety during the celebrations.

Patna’s Superintendent of Police, Deeksha, carried out surprise checks in various police station areas, including Shastri Nagar, Buddha Colony, and Gandhi Maidan. The aim of these inspections was to monitor police activities and ensure that law and order is maintained throughout the festival.

For the public, these security measures mean increased police presence on the roads, especially to manage traffic and prevent any accidents during Dussehra. The traffic police have been equipped with shoulder lights to make them visible from a distance and help with road safety.

Recently, there have been several road accidents due to reckless driving, but thanks to these proactive steps, no serious incidents have been reported lately. The police are working hard to keep everyone safe during this festive time.

Central SP Deeksha has urged citizens to celebrate Dussehra peacefully. He emphasized that any suspicious activity should be reported to the police immediately, as they are monitoring the situation continuously through various channels, including social media.
