What’s inside:

New trains are being launched in Bihar, including Amrit Bharat trains and passenger trains, bringing better connectivity for the people.

The Bihar assembly elections are coming up, and the central government is rolling out new schemes for the state. Just before Deepawali and Chhath, Biharis got some exciting news on Monday. Seven new trains were inaugurated, with Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav joining via video call. Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary and other leaders flagged off these trains from Patna Junction.

Among the seven trains, three are Amrit Bharat Trains. The routes include Muzaffarpur to Charalpalli (Hyderabad), Darbhanga to Madar (Rajasthan), and Chhapra to Anand Vihar (Delhi). These services will start operating regularly starting in October. The Amrit Bharat Express from Muzaffarpur will begin its journey on Tuesday at 10:40 AM, reaching Charalpalli the next day.

For the public, this means better travel options. The first Amrit Bharat train from Muzaffarpur will run weekly, and the return train from Charalpalli will also operate regularly. The other two Amrit Bharat trains’ schedules are yet to be announced, but they will add more connections between Bihar and other states.

Additionally, four new passenger trains will be introduced, and all seven trains will start regular service on Sundays from October 1. For example, the Buxar-Patna Passenger train will leave Buxar at 6:30 AM and arrive in Patna at 9:10 AM, making it convenient for daily commuters.

In the coming weeks, more details about the timings and routes will be shared. This initiative aims to provide significant relief and improved travel facilities for passengers within Bihar and to other states like Hyderabad and Rajasthan.

Summary:

  • Seven new trains are launched in Bihar.

  • Three Amrit Bharat Trains will connect Bihar with other states.

  • Regular operations for these trains will begin in October.

  • Four new passenger trains will also improve local travel.

  • More details on timings and routes will be announced soon.
