The victims include two siblings, an 8-year-old girl named Sonakshi and her 6-year-old brother Ayush Raj, along with their maternal uncle, Chittaranjan Kumar. Their mother, Sunita Devi, who was also with them, has sustained serious injuries and is currently receiving treatment at Sadar Hospital in Sasaram.

The family was on their way to visit their maternal grandparents for the Durga Puja holiday when the accident occurred. Witnesses reported that the truck lost control and crashed into their vehicle, leading to the tragic outcome.
