The young man who died has been identified as Manjit Kumar, a 21-year-old from Ramshahar village. He had gone to Orissa for work but returned home for the Durga Puja celebrations. On the night of the accident, he was riding his bike back home after visiting a Pooja Pandal.

Eyewitnesses reported that Manjit’s motorcycle crashed into another bike coming from the opposite direction. The impact was so strong that both riders were thrown onto the road. Local villagers quickly took them to the hospital, but unfortunately, doctors declared Manjit dead on arrival. The other injured rider was in critical condition and was sent to Patna for further treatment.

Manjit’s cousin, Rudal Kumar, shared that Manjit had just started working after finishing his education and was excited to celebrate the festival. Instead of joy, the family is now in deep sorrow. The police have taken the body for a postmortem and are investigating the accident.

This tragic incident has raised concerns about road safety in Bhojpur, especially regarding speeding and reckless driving. The local authorities are now looking into the matter to prevent such accidents in the future.
