This article discusses the recent court ruling involving Lalu Yadav and his family in the IRCTC hotel scam ahead of the Bihar assembly elections.

Along with him, his wife Rabri Devi and son Tejashwi Yadav are also accused. The court has stated that Lalu misused his position as a government official during his time in office.

When asked by the court if he admitted to the charges, Lalu Yadav firmly stated that he is innocent. Rabri Devi also denied the allegations and mentioned that they will challenge the case. The case revolves around a conspiracy to wrongfully grant land rights to them.

This scandal dates back to when Lalu was the Railway Minister from 2004 to 2009. The CBI claims that he improperly awarded contracts for the maintenance of two IRCTC hotels to a private company, leading to the Yadav family receiving valuable land in Patna in return.

As the legal proceedings continue, Lalu, Rabri, and Tejashwi have left the courtroom without making any comments. The situation remains tense as the family prepares to face the serious accusations ahead.
