A school bus and a container truck collided on Koilavar Sixlane bridge, causing injuries and traffic chaos.

On Saturday afternoon, there was a serious accident on the Koilavar Sixlane bridge. A school bus collided head-on with a container truck, leading to a big traffic jam on both sides of the bridge. Many children were in the bus, and fortunately, they are mostly safe, with only one child reported to have minor injuries.

The impact of the collision was severe, damaging the front of the bus significantly. The bus driver was trapped under the steering wheel and had to be rescued by local people using a gas cutter. The driver, identified as Satendra Singh from Bihta, was taken to Bihta Hospital where his condition is critical.

As soon as the incident was reported, the local police arrived to manage the situation. They helped remove the wreckage from the road to ease the traffic, which had built up due to the accident. The police acted quickly to ensure that the injured driver received medical attention.

This school bus belonged to Bihta Public School, which was returning after dropping off children after their holidays. The accident occurred while the bus was reportedly on the wrong side of the road when it hit the container truck coming from the opposite direction.
