A train fire incident in Bihar was quickly managed, preventing a major accident and ensuring passenger safety.

In Bihar, a serious train incident was avoided early Monday morning when a fire broke out in the wheel of the B-7 AC three-tier coach of the Clone Special train, which was traveling from New Delhi to Darbhanga. This happened near Daudpur railway station in the Saran district during the busy election period.

As the train reached Daudpur station, smoke and sparks were seen coming from the affected wheel. The gateman and other railway staff quickly alerted the station master, who acted fast by stopping the train at 7:42 am to prevent any further danger.

Once the train stopped, railway workers used fire extinguishers and water to control the fire. Although there was a brief moment of panic among passengers, everyone was safely evacuated with the help of local people. After about half an hour of effort, the fire was completely extinguished.

The quick response of the railway staff helped save hundreds of lives. After ensuring the fire was under control, the train was inspected for any other issues before it departed for Darbhanga at 8:10 am. The station also provided drinking water and support to the passengers.

The railway officials suspect that the fire could have been caused by brake binding or technical friction. An official inquiry has been ordered, and all AC coaches will undergo a special inspection to ensure safety. The quick thinking of the personnel at Daudpur station has been praised for preventing a major disaster.

  • A train fire incident occurred in Bihar on Monday morning.

  • Quick alerts prevented a major accident at Daudpur station.
