What’s inside:

Vaishali Police has uncovered an illegal mini gun factory just before the elections, arresting two individuals and seizing weapons and equipment.

Recently, Vaishali Police took a big step to ensure safety during the upcoming elections. They raided an illegal mini gun factory located in Saifpur village under the Gangabridge police station area. This operation involved the police working together with the Central Armed Police Forces, including SSB and BSF, only three days before the elections.

During the raid, the police arrested two young men at the factory. They found three homemade pistols, four live cartridges, and one shell. Besides these weapons, a lot of equipment used for making guns was also seized, like drill machines and welding rods, showing that this was a well-established operation.

According to the police, this mini gun factory had been secretly running for the last three to four months. The arrested individuals shared that the guns made here were mostly sold in the nearby Patna district. This information sheds light on the illegal arms trade that crosses district boundaries, which the police are now investigating further.

Investigators discovered that this gang has sold over ten illegal weapons so far. They have identified around ten people who bought these weapons and are forming special teams to catch them. The police are keen on breaking this entire network.

This successful operation was based on secret information received by the Superintendent of Police. The police aimed not only to shut down this illegal factory but also to ensure safe and peaceful voting by stopping the flow of illegal weapons before the elections. They are now continuing their investigations and raids to find other members of the gang.
