Nitish Kumar has officially become the Chief Minister of Bihar again. He took his oath on Thursday morning, with Governor Arif Mohammad Khan administering the ceremony. Prime Minister Narendra Modi was present at the event, arriving at Patna airport around 11 am and flying directly to Gandhi Maidan for the swearing-in.

On Wednesday, before the oath-taking, Nitish Kumar visited Raj Bhavan to meet the Governor. He submitted letters of support from 202 NDA MLAs and also resigned from his previous position. Following this, the Governor dissolved the 17th Bihar Assembly, allowing Nitish to form a new government.

During this time, political activities were bustling. In the first meeting of the JDU legislative party, Nitish was elected as the leader. Meanwhile, in the BJP meeting, Samrat Chaudhary was chosen as the leader and Vijay Sinha as the deputy leader. Both of them will also be sworn in today as Deputy Chief Ministers.

Moving forward, Nitish Kumar’s government will now work on various developmental agendas for Bihar. The oath ceremony sets the tone for the new government’s plans and priorities. The entire political landscape in Bihar is expected to change with this new formation.
