This article shares the latest on the construction of the Virat Ramayana temple in Bihar, including the installation of the world’s largest Shivalinga.

The Virat Ramayana temple is currently being built in Bihar, and it’s a big deal! Today, the world’s largest Shivalinga will start its journey from Mahabalipuram to reach the temple site in Chakia, East Champaran. This temple is expected to be a major religious site once completed.

The Shivalinga, which is a massive 33 feet tall and weighs 210 tonnes, will be transported to Bihar in a specially designed vehicle. Before the journey, rituals were performed at Mahabalipuram to ensure a safe passage. The transport will take around one and a half months to complete.

As the truck carrying the Shivalinga can only travel at a speed of 5 km per hour due to its weight, special roads and bridges have been constructed to support it. This is to prevent any damage to the existing roads along the route from Chakia to Kaithwalia.

This giant Shivalinga will be placed on a 15 feet high silver Argha, and there will also be a thousand smaller Shivalingas around it, making it quite special. The temple itself is designed to be grand, with a length of 1080 feet and a width of 540 feet, featuring several peaks and temples.

The foundation stone for the temple was laid two years ago, and it is expected to become one of the largest religious structures in India. Once completed, it will have facilities like ashrams and will be a sight to behold for devotees and visitors alike.
