A tragic road accident in Bihar leads to the death of three people and serious injuries to four others.

Late Saturday night, a serious road accident happened on the Darbhanga-Muffarpur NH-27 near the Delhi Mod bus stand. A speeding Scorpio vehicle lost control, flew into the air, and crashed into the divider. The impact was so strong that the front of the car was completely destroyed, trapping the passengers inside.

The first alert about the accident came from a truck driver who saw what happened. Inspector Shashibhushan Singh from the highway police rushed to the scene. With a gas cutter, he managed to rescue four injured passengers and sent them to the nearest hospital. Their condition was critical, leading to their transfer to DMCH for better care.

Among those involved was Guddu Kumar from Madhepura district, who was returning home after taking his sick mother to IGIMS in Patna. He was with his maternal uncle, paternal uncle, and the Scorpio driver. Unfortunately, both uncles and the driver died at the scene of the accident.

In addition to the fatalities, Guddu’s mother was also injured badly, suffering a serious leg fracture. The other injured passengers are still under close observation in the hospital as their health remains critical.

The high speed of the vehicle, darkness, and heavy traffic contributed to this tragic incident on NH-27. The police are currently investigating to find out the exact cause of the accident.
