This article talks about a train accident that almost happened in Nalanda. It highlights the collision, safety concerns, and actions taken by the police.

A serious train accident was avoided recently in Nalanda, Bihar. On Friday, a tractor-trolley loaded with paddy hit a train near Hasanpur village. This incident occurred at an illegal railway crossing on the Rajgir-Bakhtiyarpur railway line.

The collision was quite intense, causing the trolley to overturn and lay beside the tracks. Thankfully, no passengers on the train or the driver of the tractor were hurt. However, this incident has raised urgent concerns about railway safety and the issue of illegal crossings.

Eyewitnesses reported that farmers were using this illegal crossing to move their paddy from one side to the other when the accident occurred. It’s lucky that no one suffered any injuries or losses during this incident.

As soon as the news broke, the Rajgir police arrived at the scene to assess the situation. They took the tractor’s engine into custody as a precaution and have identified the owner for further legal action.

Fortunately, despite this close call, train services on this route were not disrupted, and trains continued to operate normally. The authorities are now focused on improving safety measures to prevent such incidents in the future.
