What’s inside:

This article talks about the new actions taken by the Bihar government against illegal encroachments in Hajipur.

In Bihar, the new NDA government has started taking strong steps against illegal constructions. After Samrat Chaudhary became the Home Minister, the authorities began clearing encroachments in Hajipur, especially in the Vaishali district. They used bulldozers to remove illegal structures in many key areas of the city.

The first major action took place at Trimurti Chowk, which is one of the busiest spots in Hajipur. Here, the illegal auto stand was knocked down by a bulldozer. Additionally, encroachments in the Johri Bazaar area were also cleared, making the streets more accessible for everyone.

Another significant move was at the Ramashish Chowk roundabout, known for causing heavy traffic jams. The roundabout was demolished to ease congestion. Furthermore, an illegal sand market on the Chhapra-Patna road was also shut down, and the road was repaired soon after using a JCB machine.

The administration has warned all encroachers to remove their structures voluntarily. They made it clear that if people do not take action themselves, the bulldozers will continue their work, and compensation for the removal can be claimed from the encroachers.

This swift action has created a sense of fear among illegal encroachers and land mafia in Hajipur. The new Home Minister’s strict approach signals that illegal occupations will no longer be accepted in the city.
