His friend, Mangal Kumar, who was riding with him, suffered serious injuries and was rushed to AIIMS hospital in Patna. Doctors are currently treating him, but his condition is critical.
After learning about the accident, local villagers were very upset and gathered at the scene. They placed the body on the road and blocked the highway for several hours, demanding better road safety measures and action against the truck drivers. They wanted officials to come and address their concerns, including the need for dividers on the road.
The situation was tense as the road remained blocked for about six hours. The police, led by the local station chief, managed to calm the villagers down by promising to take their demands seriously and ensuring compensation for the victim’s family. After this, the road was cleared, and traffic was restored.
The police took custody of the body and sent it for a post-mortem at the local hospital. Authorities are now looking into the matter to ensure such accidents are prevented in the future.
