In a shocking incident, a 50-year-old man was attacked at Harinagar railway station in West Champaran district while he was there to catch a train for medical treatment. This incident highlights the increasing lawlessness in the area.

The victim, identified as Kapil Mian, was with his wife, Sadrun, when he was suddenly stabbed by unknown attackers. They had come to the station as Kapil was unwell and needed to go to Gorakhpur for better medical care.

During the brutal attack, Kapil was severely injured, with multiple stab wounds on his left hand. He was left bleeding on the ground until the railway police and local police arrived and rushed him to Ramnagar Primary Health Center for immediate treatment.

Dr. Sujit Kumar, who treated him, noted that Kapil had deep wounds that required more advanced care. Therefore, he was referred to Bettiah GMCH for further treatment due to the seriousness of his condition.

This incident has created fear among the local residents and travelers, who feel increasingly unsafe due to the rising number of criminal acts in the area. The police are actively investigating the case and are conducting raids to catch the attackers.
