Bihar Faces Cold Wave as Temperatures Drop; Alert Issued for Patna, Gaya, and Surrounding Districts

Bihar is currently experiencing a serious cold wave. The chill has become more intense because of strong winds blowing across the state. As soon as you step outside, it feels like the cold is wrapping around you. Many districts in Bihar are expected to face a cold wave situation today, which has already caused a drop in night temperatures and made things tough for the locals.

The Meteorological Department has warned that cold wave conditions will continue, especially in western and central Bihar. This means temperatures will drop even more, and people will feel the cold even stronger. Districts like Patna, Gaya, Bhojpur, and several others are under cold wave alerts, so residents need to prepare for colder days ahead.

Fog is also becoming a problem. The weather department predicts dense fog will cover North and East Bihar for the next two days. This means that visibility will be low and temperatures will stay below normal. Areas like West Champaran, Muzaffarpur, and Darbhanga are particularly affected by this fog, making travel difficult.

The temperature is expected to fall sharply due to westerly winds blowing at speeds up to 40 km/hour. Most places in Bihar will see minimum temperatures between 5°C and 12°C, while daytime highs will be around 24°C to 28°C. Aurangabad recorded the lowest temperature of 7.3°C, while Motihari saw a high of 28.2°C, showing how chilly it has become.
