Indian Railways is all set to launch the country’s first Vande Bharat sleeper train. This train will run between Patna and Delhi, making travel easier and more comfortable for passengers. It’s expected to start by the end of December, so everyone is quite excited about it.

This train is specially made for night journeys and will operate six days a week, similar to the Tejas Rajdhani Express. Passengers can expect it to leave Patna in the evening and arrive in Delhi by morning, allowing for a restful overnight journey.

The train will have a total of 16 coaches, providing 827 berths across different categories. There are 11 Third AC coaches with 611 berths for general passengers, 4 Second AC coaches with 188 berths, and 1 First AC coach with 24 berths. This setup is designed to accommodate various passenger needs.

In terms of speed, this sleeper train can reach up to 160 kilometers per hour, which will help cut down travel time. It also includes modern safety features like an advanced ‘armor’ system, crash-proof design, and amenities such as automatic doors, bio-toilets, and CCTV cameras.

The first rake of the train will be sent from Bengaluru to Northern Railway on December 12, followed by trial runs on the Delhi-Patna route. This will ensure everything is safe and ready for passengers to enjoy a premium travel experience.
