During his visit, the Chief Minister inspected the PepsiCo Bottling Plant and Varun Beverage Limited’s water bottling facility. He was briefed on the production of popular drinks like Pepsi, Mountain Dew, and Seven Up, and he emphasized the need to boost industrial development to create more jobs for local people.

Nitish Kumar also looked into Bharat Plus Ethanol Private Limited and the Coca-Cola Plant, where he learned about the investment details, employee numbers, and the facilities available. His aim was to ensure that these industrial units can provide ample job opportunities for residents.

The Nawanagar Industrial Area covers 439.68 acres, with 126.51 acres designated for the SEZ. This area is set to play a crucial role in Bihar’s industrial growth by allowing export companies to operate, which will help in enhancing the state’s economy and create a multitude of jobs.

As a next step, the Chief Minister instructed officials to focus on expanding Nawanagar as an industrial hub. This includes improving basic infrastructure like roads and electricity, which are essential for attracting more businesses and investments in the area.
