Bihar Sharif to Benefit from New 20 MVA Power Substation, Promising Uninterrupted Electricity Supply and Development Boost

Bihar is making great strides in improving its electricity supply. The government, led by Nitish Kumar, is working hard to ensure that everyone in the state has access to power. A new power substation is almost ready in Bihar Sharif, which will help meet the increasing demand for electricity due to the growing population.

This new substation, located in the Super Grid Campus, has a capacity of 20 MVA and cost around Rs 7 crore to build. It is expected to start supplying electricity from January. This will provide a steady supply of power, especially to the southern parts of the city and nearby areas, reducing the issues of power cuts and load shedding.

Previously, there were substations at Ramchandrapur, Chandpura, Badi Pahari, and Sohsarai, but the rising population and higher electricity use during summer made it necessary to build this new facility. The government is also planning more substations in places like Maniram Akhara and Nalanda College to further support the growing demand.

The initiatives like ‘Har Ghar Bijli’ and ‘Saat Nishchay’ by the Nitish government are clearly showing results. Hundreds of new substations are being set up across the state, ensuring that both rural and urban areas benefit equally from these developments, which is a strong response to past complaints about electricity shortages.

This new substation will not only ease the power situation but also boost industrial growth and create jobs. The government’s efforts are aimed at making Bihar a self-reliant and developed state, and they are committed to continuing this path of progress.
