A recent incident of stone pelting on the Vande Bharat train in Bihar caused damage to a window but did not harm any passengers.
There has been another case of stone pelting on the Vande Bharat train in Bihar. This happened recently, just two days after a similar incident in Muzaffarpur. The latest event took place between Samastipur and Dubaha stations on Saturday.
During this incident, some unknown individuals threw stones at the train, which resulted in a window of the chair car breaking. Luckily, no passengers were sitting near that window at the time, so no one was injured. The Railway Protection Force (RPF) is now on high alert following this episode.
The Vande Bharat train left Samastipur at 9:28 AM and reached Muzaffarpur at 10:13 AM. The damaged glass was replaced once the train arrived at Danapur. The Railway Administration has called on everyone to respect public property and not engage in such destructive behavior.
Previously, a similar incident occurred with the Gorakhpur-Patliputra Vande Bharat Express, where stones broke the windows of three bogies. In that case, police arrested three minors who were throwing stones to make videos.
In light of these events, railway officials, including the East Central Railway General Manager, are closely monitoring security measures. The RPF has started an investigation to prevent future incidents and ensure passenger safety on trains.
