Mukesh Sahni criticizes the Bihar government for lacking development plans and focusing on opposing leaders instead.

Mukesh Sahni, the head of Vikassheel Insaan Party (VIP), recently returned to Patna from Delhi and spoke with journalists at the airport. He had strong words for the current NDA government in Bihar, claiming they do not have a clear vision for the state’s development. Sahni believes the government’s main focus is on intimidating opposition leaders rather than working for the people.

During his conversation, Sahni specifically mentioned concerns over the former Chief Minister Rabri Devi’s residence, implying that the government’s actions are more about suppressing opposition voices than addressing public issues. He emphasized that the opposition plays an important role in guiding the government, especially when it seems deaf to the people’s needs.

Sahni also pointed out the deteriorating state of infrastructure in Bihar, particularly the collapsing bridges. He criticized Chief Minister Nitish Kumar for ignoring these serious problems and said that corruption is rampant. Sahni suggested that government officials are taking advantage of the Chief Minister’s health issues to evade accountability.

Moreover, Sahni accused the NDA government of being illegitimate, stating it was formed not through a genuine public mandate but by using money to influence voters. He alleged that people were offered cash incentives, which he claims undermined the electoral process. He expressed concern about the state’s financial situation, noting that the government is struggling to pay salaries.

Addressing the ongoing issues, Sahni stated that the government’s focus on harassing opposition leaders will not go unnoticed by the public. He asserted that the people of Bihar will respond at the appropriate time. In response to Jitan Ram Manjhi’s dissatisfaction within the NDA, Sahni remarked that Manjhi seems more interested in staying in the media spotlight than in genuine political action.
