Kanti MLA Ajit Kumar has raised concerns about poor quality materials being used in road construction in Repura village, leading to a halt in work until improvements are made.

In Muzaffarpur, Kanti MLA Ajit Kumar is unhappy with the way a new road is being built in Repura village. He found that the materials being used are not up to the mark and there are serious irregularities in the construction. The MLA has ordered that all work should stop immediately until the quality is improved.

The road is being made by the Rural Works Department, and locals have complained about the use of low-quality materials instead of what was required. They mentioned that SS Construction is using inferior ballast from a mixer machine, and there is no engineer present at the site to oversee the work, causing issues during construction.

During the inspection, the MLA was accompanied by several officials, including the Executive Engineer and Assistant Engineer. The villagers expressed their anger about the poor construction. Upon checking the materials himself, the MLA confirmed that substandard materials were being used, which led him to scold the assistant engineer on the spot.

The MLA also pointed out that this construction company is working on a total of 39 roads in the Madvan block, and he warned that any misuse of public money will not be tolerated. He urged the villagers to prevent any further construction until the standards are met properly.

To address the issue, the MLA plans to meet with the departmental minister and principal secretary in the next two days to file a formal complaint. He is determined to ensure that only strong and durable roads are built in the region.
