A tragic incident has occurred in Bihar where a young Home Guard jawan, Raju Kumar, aged 25, lost his life during training. He was from Maqsoodpur village in Muzaffarpur district and was undergoing training in Aurangabad.
Raju was practicing high jump as part of preparations for the passing out parade scheduled for January 8. Unfortunately, he lost his balance and fell, suffering serious injuries. His fellow soldiers and officers rushed him to the Madanpur Community Health Centre immediately.
After receiving first aid, Raju was referred to Sadar Hospital due to the severity of his condition. Sadly, he was declared dead upon arrival at the hospital. Raju had just joined training on August 28 and was eagerly preparing with his fellow trainees.
Currently, there are 244 Home Guard soldiers in training at the CRPF camp in Madanpur, including 176 from Muzaffarpur and 68 from Sitamarhi. The Divisional Commandant of Home Guard confirmed the incident and informed Raju’s family, who are now in deep mourning.
The atmosphere at the training camp is somber following this unfortunate event. Raju Kumar’s family and the local community are grieving the loss of a young life dedicated to serving the nation.
