This article discusses the arrest of railway officials involved in a gold heist at Gaya Junction.


Recently, at Gaya Junction, there was a big incident where around one kilogram of gold was stolen from a courier passenger on the Howrah-Jodhpur Express. This happened on November 21, and now the police are taking serious action.

The railway station’s head, Rajesh Kumar Singh, has been arrested along with four other railway personnel: Karan Kumar, Abhishek Chaturvedi, Ranjay Kumar, and Anand Mohan. Additionally, two civilians named Parvez and Sitaram Kumar are also accused in this case.

Due to this incident, a Special Investigation Team (SIT) has been formed, led by three Deputy Superintendents of Police (DSPs). They are working under the supervision of the railway Superintendent of Police to ensure a thorough inquiry.

This gold theft case is quite serious, and the railway DIG has interrogated the investigator about the delay in the case. Officials are determined to take strict action against everyone involved.

As a result of this incident, the railway authorities are likely to tighten security measures at stations and on trains. They are committed to resolving this case quickly and ensuring the safety of passengers in the future.
