This article discusses a serious road accident in Bihar involving multiple vehicles due to dense fog and speeding.

A serious road accident took place in Bihar on Friday morning around 8 am. It happened on the Bakhtiyarpur-Mokama four-lane road, where five vehicles collided because of low visibility from dense fog. This accident caused injuries to seven passengers, with two of them in critical condition.

The accident occurred near Mor village in the Mokama police area. The thick fog made it hard to see, and the speed of the vehicles worsened the situation. One after another, vehicles crashed into each other, including an Innova car, a truck-trolley, two bikes, and a passenger bus.

Eyewitnesses reported that the vehicles behind couldn’t stop in time after the lead vehicle braked suddenly. This led to a chain reaction of collisions. The noise of the accident attracted nearby villagers, who quickly rushed to help and informed the police.

Among the injured, the bus driver and a bike rider suffered serious injuries and were taken to the hospital. Five other passengers on the bus had minor injuries. Fortunately, no one lost their life, and the bus was carrying passengers from Patna to Begusarai.

The Mokama police arrived at the scene immediately to manage the situation. They cleared the damaged vehicles and started investigating the cause of the accident. Initial findings suggest that the combination of fog and speeding was the main reason for the crash. The police urged drivers to slow down, use fog lights, and maintain a safe distance to prevent such incidents in the future.
