The East Central Railway has rolled out a new timetable for trains effective from January 1st. This change will impact major stations in the Samastipur rail division, making some train schedules different from before.
New trains have been added to the schedule, and many existing trains will run faster. For example, the Bihar Sampark Kranti Express will now arrive at Muzaffarpur Junction at 6:45 AM instead of 6:30 AM. Similarly, the Mithila Express will now arrive at 1:25 PM.
In total, there are changes in the arrival and departure times of 32 trains passing through the Samastipur division. Several trains like the Awadh Express, Bagha Express, and Maurya Express will also see adjusted timings.
Some trains are getting faster schedules too. For instance, the Chiraiya-Muzaffarpur Express will be sped up by 60 minutes, while the Narakatiaganj-Muzaffarpur Express will be faster by 5 minutes.
Passengers should note that the updated timings are already being sent via message to those who have booked tickets. This new schedule aims to provide better service and efficiency on the railways.
