Rail passengers heading to and from Tatanagar should be prepared for some difficulties until January 11. The South Eastern Railway has cancelled eight trains and partially cancelled another twelve because of track maintenance work in the Adra railway division.

For example, the Tatanagar–Hatia Express scheduled to leave on January 6 will now take a different route. Other trains like the Anand Vihar–Puri Purushottam Express will run late, and some trains will not operate at all on specific days like January 6, 8, and 10.
Passengers should note that services across Jharkhand, Bihar, and West Bengal will be affected. It’s advisable to check the latest train status before starting your journey to avoid any surprises.
Railway officials say this maintenance work is important for safety. Passengers should plan their trips accordingly to minimize inconvenience during this period.
