Bhojpur district is closing schools for younger students due to a cold wave affecting children’s health.
In Bhojpur district, the weather is getting really cold, and it’s affecting the health of children. Because of this, the District Magistrate, Tanay Sultania, has decided to close schools to protect the kids.
All educational activities for nursery to 8th grade will be on hold from 12th January 2026 to 13th January 2026. This includes government and private schools, Anganwadi centers, and pre-schools. No classes will be held during this period.
For students in classes 9 to 12, there are new rules too. These classes can only take place between 10:00 AM and 3:30 PM. No educational activities are allowed before 10 AM or after 3:30 PM, ensuring students are not out in the cold too early or too late.
