A new high-level bridge will be built over the Bagmati River in Bihar, connecting three districts and improving transportation.
A new high-level bridge is set to be constructed on the Bagmati River in Shivhar, Bihar. This bridge is part of the new railway line connecting Sitamarhi, Shivhar, and Motihari. With this development, local residents from these three districts will benefit significantly.
The bridge will be around 61 meters long and 9 meters wide, allowing for two railway tracks. The Bihar Railway Authority has already given the green signal for the construction of this bridge, which is expected to cost approximately ₹70 crores.
This railway line will strengthen connectivity between Sitamarhi, Shivhar, and East Champaran. The line will cover about 28 kilometers from Sitamarhi to Shivhar and another 51 kilometers from Shivhar to Motihari, making travel easier for everyone.
Recently, work on land acquisition and surveying for the railway has picked up speed. The survey for the 28-kilometer stretch between Sitamarhi and Shivhar has been completed, with plans for 13 bridges and 62 smaller culverts along the route.
Once this railway project is finished, it will create new job opportunities in Bihar and help small businesses transport goods more efficiently. This initiative is expected to boost the local economy and improve the overall lifestyle of the people in the area.
