Patna Junction and Mahavir Temple have a new security post to enhance safety for devotees and travelers.

Patna has taken an important step to boost security at Patna Junction and the popular Mahavir Temple. This past Saturday, the Patna SSP, Karthikeya Sharma, inaugurated a newly built Temporary Out Post (TOP) near the temple, with many police officials present for the occasion.

The new TOP aims to enhance the safety of the huge number of devotees and travelers who visit the area daily. SSP Karthikeya Sharma mentioned that police will now be present 24 hours a day to ensure security and respect for the temple. This post will also serve as a quick response unit in case of emergencies.

This security arrangement will help prevent issues like snatching for passengers coming to and from the junction. The police will manage traffic in front of the temple and station, allowing travelers to get immediate assistance if they face any problems.

Police officers and personnel will work in shifts at the TOP. The area will be closely monitored, especially due to ongoing metro and underpass construction. They will use CCTV cameras to keep an eye on any anti-social activity, ensuring a safer environment.

The introduction of this TOP is expected to improve safety measures significantly for everyone visiting the temple and junction. Immediate police support will be available for any traveler or devotee in need, making the area more secure.

Summary:

  • New security post launched near Mahavir Temple in Patna.

  • Police presence will be 24/7 for improved safety.

  • TOP will help in preventing snatching and managing traffic.

  • CCTV cameras will monitor the area for anti-social activities.

  • Immediate police assistance is now available for travelers.
