Western Railway has introduced a unique facility for passengers at Mumbai Central Railway Station. India’s first Digital Lounge and Co-Working Space is now open for public use. This facility allows business travelers and professionals to work comfortably while waiting for their trains.
Where is this new Digital Lounge located?
The new lounge is situated at the Main Line concourse of Mumbai Central Railway Station. It covers an area of 1,712 square feet. The facility was launched in mid-December 2025 and is operated by Ten11 Hospitality LLP under the brand name INEJ Lounge. This project is part of a public-private partnership model.
What are the charges for using the lounge?
Passengers need to pay an entry fee to use the facilities. The rates are designed to be affordable for short durations. Payment can be made at the counter.

Upgraded washrooms and shower facilities are provided for convenience.
Can I get food at the lounge?
Yes, the lounge offers food options for visitors. A vegetarian meal costs approximately ₹400, and snacks are available for around ₹250. Self-service non-alcoholic beverages are also part of the menu. The layout is inspired by European stations to give a premium feel.
Are there plans for other stations?
Railway officials are monitoring the response to this pilot project. If passengers find it useful, similar lounges may be opened at other major stations. Plans are being considered for Andheri, Borivali, Bandra Terminus, and Goregaon in the future.
