In a landmark development for the ‘Make in India’ initiative, Adani Defence & Aerospace has joined hands with Embraer, the world’s third-largest aircraft manufacturer. The two entities signed an MoU on January 27, 2026, to set up a manufacturing ecosystem for regional commercial aircraft in India.

The agreement was signed by Jeet Adani, Director of Adani Defence & Aerospace, and Arjan Meijer, CEO of Embraer Commercial Aviation. The ceremony took place at the Ministry of Civil Aviation in New Delhi, witnessed by Union Minister K. Rammohan Naidu.
