The Patna Metro Rail Corporation (PMRC) has implemented a scheduled power block on Wednesday, January 28, 2026, to carry out essential technical maintenance work between ISBT and Bhoothnath.

Reason Behind the Suspension
The shutdown is strictly for technical maintenance and system upgrades to ensure the safety of the metro network. This involves a planned traffic and power block on the Blue Line. Officials confirmed that this is a routine procedure to maintain the infrastructure inaugurated just three months ago. No passenger trains will run on the entire operational stretch today.
When Will Services Resume?
Travelers are advised to use buses or auto-rickshaws for their commute along the Bypass connector today. The service details are as follows:

- Resumption Date: Thursday, January 29, 2026.
- Regular Timings: 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM (Frequency every 20 minutes).
