Good news for the Aurangabad Lok Sabha area! The expansion of NH-139, which connects Patna to Arwal, Daudnagar, Aurangabad, and Hariharganj, is finally picking up pace.
RJD MP Abhay Kushwaha shared that after many efforts in Parliament and personal meetings, the Union Ministry of Road Transport and Highways has greenlit the construction of bypasses in Arwal and Daudnagar. They have also started preparing a Detailed Project Report for the rest of the road sections.
This development means that people will soon see fewer traffic jams and accidents, which have been a big problem for a long time. Abhay Kushwaha pointed out that he had raised this issue in Parliament and met with the Minister back in March 2025, which has led to this positive outcome.
The project includes a 4-lane bypass in the first phase, with approvals already in place for initial construction. This will help improve overall road connectivity, making travel faster and safer between Bihar and Jharkhand.
Abhay Kushwaha expressed his gratitude to Union Minister Nitin Gadkari on behalf of the people of Aurangabad, emphasizing that this project will not only enhance travel but also boost local businesses and create jobs, benefiting the entire region.
