What are the main incentives for companies?
The state government has announced very competitive benefits to attract investors. The policy includes a capital subsidy where the state will provide an additional 60% of the subsidy amount that the Central government offers. To help with setting up factories, the government is offering significant support on land allocation. Investors who commit ₹100 crore and create 1,000 direct jobs can get 10 acres of land for free. Fortune 500 companies are also eligible for this free land benefit.
Other facilities and future plans
Besides land and capital support, the policy offers reimbursement of SGST up to 300% of the project cost over a period of 14 years. Manufacturing units will also receive electricity and water at subsidized rates.
