How Her Eyes Changed Colors
Prahlad Kakkar mentioned that during the screen test, he felt Aishwarya’s eyes were changing colors according to her mood. Sometimes they looked grey, sometimes green, and at other times blue. He said that even though she was just a student then, her eyes had a magic that made it feel like the whole world was inside them. Scientifically, her eye color is ‘sea-green’, but lighting and clothes often create different reflections.
The Search for ‘Sanju’ Took 3 Months
The director revealed that casting for this specific role was very difficult. He needed a face that could stop the world in just 4 seconds of screen time. It took him three months to find Aishwarya for the character named ‘Sanju’. The impact was huge after the ad was released. Kakkar received more than 5,000 phone calls the next morning from people just asking who this girl ‘Sanju’ was.
