The Bihar State Tourism Development Corporation has started a new service for the people of Patna. Now you can book the famous double-decker bus running on JP Ganga Path for private events like birthday parties. This service is available in addition to the regular sightseeing rides. The tourism department has released the complete details regarding the booking price and the route for the general public.
Ticket Prices and Booking Rules
If you want to book the whole bus for a private party, you have to pay ₹4,000. This amount covers a trip of 1.5 hours, which is enough for cutting a cake and enjoying the view with family. Food packets can also be arranged if you request them in advance. For normal passengers who just want to travel, the ticket prices are very affordable. A one-way ticket costs ₹50 and a round trip costs ₹100.

Timing and Route Details
The bus covers a distance of 15.5 km from Digha Rotary to Kangan Ghat. It moves at a slow speed of 20 to 25 km/h so that people can enjoy the view of the Ganga river. The bus has 40 seats in total, with 20 seats in the AC section and 20 seats on the open upper deck. In the winter season, the bus runs from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM. The standard timing is usually from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM to allow people to see the evening lights and Ganga Aarti.
