The government has officially approved the regular operation of the Thawe-Patna Intercity train. Previously running as a special service, this train will now operate daily, offering reliable connectivity for commuters from Gopalganj, Siwan, and Chhapra who frequently travel to the state capital.

The train operates under the numbers 03215 and 03216 covering a distance of 176 kilometers. The journey takes approximately 5 hours and 20 minutes one way.
- Train 03216: Departs Thawe Junction at 18:25 and reaches Patna Junction at 23:45.
- Train 03215: Departs Patna Junction at 12:10 and arrives at Thawe Junction at 17:40.
The route includes important stops such as Gopalganj, Marhaura, Dighwara, and Patliputra. This schedule helps people finish their work in Patna and return, or travel in the evening.

BJP MLA Mithilesh Tiwari informed the public that the Railway Minister has approved the regular daily operation of this train.
