Patna Police arrested three drug smugglers, including two women, near Patliputra Station Road under the Rupaspur police station area. The operation took place on Tuesday following a secret tip-off about a major drug delivery. During the raid, officers recovered 102.88 grams of heroin with an estimated market value of 21 lakh rupees. City SP West Bhanu Pratap Singh confirmed that the suspects were part of an active drug trafficking ring operating in the region.

The raid was led by Shashi Bhushan Singh, the SHO of Rupaspur Police Station, after receiving specific intelligence about the movement of smugglers. The police team cordoned off the area near the railway station to prevent any escape attempt. Three people were taken into custody and the heroin was found in their possession during the search. The arrested individuals belong to different parts of Patna and Vaishali districts.
