Inspection Details and Staff Negligence

The MLA arrived at the hospital without any prior notice to check the ground reality of healthcare services in Rohtas. She went directly to the medicine distribution center and inspected the hygiene levels. She was angry to see garbage piles within the hospital area and scolded the administration for the poor state of cleanliness.

During the check, she also reviewed the attendance of the hospital staff. It was found that several employees were absent during their duty hours. Taking this seriously, Snehlata Kushwaha issued immediate instructions to the hospital administration to take strict disciplinary action against all the personnel who were found missing from their posts.

Interaction with Patients and Facilities

Snehlata Kushwaha spent time speaking directly with the patients admitted in the wards. She asked them about the quality of food and whether they were receiving medicines for free as per government rules. Most patients reported that the food provided was satisfactory. She emphasized that no patient should be forced to buy medicines from outside shops.

She also inspected the medical equipment available at the facility. While the CT scan machine was found to be operational and serving patients, she noted significant issues with the Ultrasound facility. The MLA stated that she has asked for a written list of these problems so they can be sent to the government for a quick resolution.
