How can residents apply for regularization?
For residents living in the area west of Ashiana-Digha Road (Nepali Nagar/Rajiv Nagar), the government has provided a path for regularization under specific conditions. Residents can obtain ownership rights by depositing 10% of the current Minimum Value Register (MVR) rates. However, the administration has warned the general public not to buy any land or house in this disputed area as registries and Power of Attorney documents for these plots are considered illegal.
