Four candidates from Benipatti, Jhanjharpur, Rajnagar, and Phulparas regions have made the district proud. Among them is Shubham Jha, who cleared the exam in his second attempt through self-study, and Shreya Jha, a law graduate and daughter of a bank executive. What are the official figures for UPSC 2025?

The commission has recommended a total of 958 candidates for appointment to services like IAS, IPS, IFS, and Central Services Group A and B. The appointments are made based on the vacancies available, which were revised to approximately 1,087 this year. The breakdown of successful candidates includes 317 from the General category, 306 from OBC, 158 from SC, 104 from EWS, and 73 from ST categories.

Candidates who appeared for the interview can check their mark sheets soon. The commission stated that the marks will be uploaded on the official website within 15 days from the date of the result declaration. These marks will remain available for viewing for 30 days.
