To protect the area from floods, the construction is being done at a height of 53.5 meters. The Bihar State Road Development Corporation Limited is overseeing the work along with HUDCO to ensure quality and timely completion.
Chief Minister Nitish Kumar inaugurated the larger JP Ganga Path project earlier, and departments like BUDCO are now working on connecting the riverfront from the Collectorate to Sabhyata Dwar. The expansion will also include a grand memorial for Loknayak Jayaprakash Narayan and a statue of Dr. Rajendra Prasad.
