A disturbing incident took place in Khuthan village under the Haspura police station area of Aurangabad. A man named Amant Pal allegedly killed his brother’s three young children using a sharp cutter machine. Reports suggest he played loud music to ensure no one heard the victims during the attack. The victims are identified as follows:

  • Ayush: 7 years old
  • Anushka: 5 years old

The police found the accused in a critical condition as he attempted to take his own life after the crime. He was first spotted by villagers and has now been moved to a hospital in Patna for better treatment. Initial police reports from the Daudnagar SDPO suggest that a family dispute might be the reason behind this horrific act.

Nitish Kumar to Resign as MLC on March 30

Chief Minister Nitish Kumar will submit his resignation from the Bihar Legislative Council on March 30. This decision follows his recent victory in the Rajya Sabha elections held on March 16. According to constitutional rules, a person cannot remain a member of both the State Legislature and the Parliament at the same time. Changes in Petrol and Diesel Prices in Patna

The central government has announced a reduction in the Special Additional Excise Duty on petrol by 10 rupees per litre. This move aims to provide some relief to consumers. In Patna, diesel is now priced at 91.49 per litre, showing a minor decrease from the previous day. Petrol prices remain stable at 105.54 per litre. While major oil companies kept prices steady, private retailer Nayara Energy increased its rates by 5 rupees for petrol in the state.
