Which officers have declared the highest assets in Bihar?

According to the official data, several senior IAS officers hold significant property across the country. IAS officer Vandana Preyasi has declared assets worth 2.65 crore, while Kumar Ravi, the Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister, has 2.64 crore. Dr. S. Siddhartha from the Education Department owns multiple residential properties in Delhi, Telangana, and Tamil Nadu. The Patna District Magistrate also has substantial immovable property including a flat worth 95 lakh in Patna.

He owns a plot in Bihta and a flat in Noida for which the loan has been repaid. In comparison, the property declaration for the Patna SSP post shows a total of 2.22 crore. While recent reports mention Avakash Kumar in the wealth disclosure, the current SSP Kartikeya Sharma has also taken charge of the district recently.

The state government has set clear deadlines for future declarations as well. Officers must register their assets for the year 2025 by January 9, 2026. These signed documents will be uploaded to the official government website by March 31, 2026, to maintain public records and accountability within the administrative system.
