अबू धाबी में 11 अक्टूबर को 40 नई मिनी बसें पेश की जाएंगी।
अगले दो वर्षों में, ऐसीं 327 नई बसें अबू धाबी में सड़कों पर दौड़ेंगी।
नई बसों में 25 यात्रियों की क्षमता होगी।
इसमें 13 सीटें, अतिरिक्त चार सीटों का विकल्प और आठ लोग खड़े हों सकेंगे।
बेहतर सुविधाओं वाली ये बसें उपनगरीय क्षेत्रों में चलेंगी।
40 नई मिनी बसें, खासकर पीक ऑवर्स के दौरान सेवाओं की आवृत्ति में वृद्धि करेंगी।
यह अनिवार्य रूप से अबू धाबी क्षेत्र में विभिन्न क्षेत्रों के बीच कनेक्टिविटी में सुधार करेगा।
यह निवासियों के लिए एक वरदान के रूप में आएगा, जो उपनगरों और आंतरिक क्षेत्रों में रहते हैं और टोल गेट सिस्टम लागू होने पर सार्वजनिक परिवहन का विकल्प चुनना चाहते हैं।
आईटीसी के पब्लिक ट्रांसपोर्ट सेक्टर के निदेशक, अतीक मोहम्मद अल मजरौई ने कहा, “ये 40 नई बसें अबू धाबी में टोल गेट प्रणाली के कार्यान्वयन से ठीक पहले सार्वजनिक परिवहन सेवा नेटवर्क को बढ़ाने के लिए आईटीसी की योजना का समर्थन करेंगी।”
उच्च गुणवत्ता वाली नई बसें पर्यावरण के अनुकूल हैं, सीट बेल्ट, भुगतान के लिए स्मार्ट सिस्टम, सीसीटीवी कैमरों के साथ मार्ग पर नज़र रखने और के साथ कई अन्य सुविधा के साथ सुसज्जित हैं।
As many as 40 new mini buses will be introduced on October 11 – four days ahead of implementation of toll collection system. Also over the next two years, 327 new buses will replace the existing fleet in Abu Dhabi at a cost of Dh473 million, said a top official from the Integrated Transport Centre.
The new buses from October will have capacity of 25 passengers – 13 seats, with option of additional four seats and eight people standing. These buses with improved facilities will run in suburban areas and will be in addition to existing ‘hail and ride’ services.
The 40 new mini buses will increase frequency of services, especially during peak hours. It will essentially improve connectivity between different areas in Abu Dhabi region.
This will come as a boon for residents, who live in the suburbs and interior areas, and wish to opt for public transport as the toll gate system gets implemented.
“These 40 new buses will support ITC’s plan to enhance the public transport service network just before the implementation of the toll gate system in Abu Dhabi,” saidAteeq Mohammed Al Mazrouei, director of operations, Public Transport Sector at ITC.
The high-quality new buses are environment friendly, equipped with seat belts, smart systems for payment, route tracking along with CCTV cameras and facility to support the use by people of determination.
