On January 23, 2026, temperatures in Dubai were forecasted to range between 13°C and 22°C. Abu Dhabi was expected to see minimum temperatures around 17°C and maximums up to 21°C. Residents across the UAE are advised to take necessary precautions against the persisting cold weather.

Jebel Jais Records Season’s Lowest Temperature

The mountainous regions of the UAE have been particularly affected by the severe cold. Jebel Jais in Ras Al Khaimah recorded a low of 0.2°C at 5:45 AM on January 22, 2026, marking the chilliest point of the season so far. For January 23, sub-zero “feels-like” conditions were also forecasted for its summit due to significant wind chill, indicating extreme cold.

According to the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM), Friday’s weather was fair to partly cloudy. Light to moderate winds blew across the country, turning humid by night in some western areas.
