Tata Motors to Launch Nexon Facelift and Nexon EV Facelift on September 14, 2023

• Tata Motors will launch the Nexon facelift and Nexon EV facelift on September 14, 2023.

Design Changes in Nexon and Nexon EV Facelift

• The Nexon facelift will feature new, sleeker lines, redesigned grille, LED headlights, LED DRLs, new alloy wheels, and LED taillights.
• The styling of the Nexon EV will be slightly different, with blue accents and EV badging on the exterior.

New Features and Technology in Both Models

• Both models will come with significant changes in terms of new features and technology, along with a new cabin.
• They will have a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system and instrument cluster.
• The cars will also feature advanced Tata logo, premium leather elements, improved fit and finish, and a new dual-spoke steering wheel.
• The touchscreen system will come with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto wireless connectivity.
• Other features include ventilated leatherette front seats, wireless phone charging, a 9-speaker JBL branded audio system, voice-controlled panoramic sunroof, and connected car technology.

Safety Features

• The new Nexon will come with six airbags, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), three-point seat belts for rear passengers, and ISOFIX mounting standards for child seats.
• Additional safety features such as a 360-degree camera, front parking sensors, and blind vision monitor will enhance convenience and safety for the driver.
• The Nexon EV is also expected to have ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System) features.

Engine Options

• The Nexon is offered with a 1.2-liter turbo-petrol engine producing 118 hp and 170 Nm of maximum torque, while the SUV also comes with a 1.5-liter diesel engine producing 113 hp and 260 Nm of maximum torque.
• Both engines will be available with manual and automated manual transmission (AMT) options, while the turbo-petrol model will also have a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.

Nexon EV Battery and Motor Details

• Details about the battery and motor of the Nexon EV facelift have not been released yet, but it is expected to continue with the configurations of the current model.
• This means it could offer two battery options, 30.2 kWh and 40.5 kWh, with an estimated range of 312 kilometers and 453 kilometers, respectively.
