Svitch Launches New Electric Bike in Indian Market

Ahmedabad-based start-up, Svitch, has introduced a new electric bike, the CSR 762, for customers in the Indian market. The bike is equipped with a 40-liter helmet space. One of the most crucial features of an electric bike is its driving range. The CSR 762 can travel up to 190 kilometers when fully charged.

CSR 762 Features

The electric bike is powered by a 3kW mid-drive PMS DC electric motor that works in conjunction with a 3.6kWh twin lithium-ion battery. Once fully charged, the bike’s battery can last up to 190 kilometers (as per IDC). In terms of performance, the top speed of this electric bike is 120 km per hour. The bike doesn’t require a liquid cooling system as it remains cool. It employs an air cooling technique for its motor and other essential parts.

CSR 762 Design and Other Features

The bike, made with a steel frame, uses front telescopic forks and rear mono shocks. For braking, the company has equipped it with a combi braking setup with a 300mm front and 280mm rear disc brake. The electric bike offers customers six riding modes, plus an in-built mobile charger, a cover mobile holder, IOS and Android smartphone connectivity suite. The company currently has four exclusive showrooms in Chennai, Hyderabad, and Bangalore.

CSR 762 Pricing in India

The company has priced this electric bike at INR 189,990. The bike will be available in three color options: Scarlet Red, Black Diamond, and Molten Mercury.
