Preparations for G-20 Summit in Delhi

To ensure adequate transportation arrangements, vehicles worth crores are being arranged by the authorities. Notably, a Delhi-based rental firm has purchased a Mercedes Maybach worth 3 crores, which can be rented for 8 hours at a cost of 60 thousand rupees. During the G-20 summit, the rental price for one day is expected to be up to two and a half lakh rupees.
Heavy Demand for Luxury Cars
Luxury cars such as Mercedes S Class, BMW 7 Series, Mercedes E Class, BMW 5 Series, and more are witnessing a continuous rise in demand from travel agencies during the summit. Expensive SUVs like Mercedes GLS and Audi Q7, as well as Toyota Commuter, Toyota Coaster, Mercedes Sprinter Coaster, Mercedes Sprinter, and Force Urbania, are also experiencing high demand.
New Car Orders Being Placed
Tour Trade, a prominent travel agency, has placed orders for new luxury cars to meet the unprecedented demand. At least 10 new Mercedes S-Class cars are expected to be delivered in the coming days. Harman Singh, the director of Punia Travels, has purchased a Mercedes Maybach S 580 for the G-20 Summit. This luxurious sedan is equipped with advanced features, including doors that can be closed with a hand gesture. Singh stated that they receive calls for renting the Mercedes Maybach at least once every hour, highlighting its popularity among customers.
